[DentalTalk] prophy and 4342 at the same time
I have never been able to get insur to cover 4342 at the same time as prophy. I believe it comes under the same exclusion as a 4341 which also can’t be done same day as prophy.

I have a question for the insurance gurus’. will insurance pay for a patient to have a prophy done and 1 or 2 teeth root planed at the same appointment? the code for 1-3 teeth needing RP is 4342, but what I want to know, can you do a prophy and RP 1-2 teeth at the same appointment?
