[DentalTalk] frontless front desk
Helloooooo — this is what the newer software is designed for. The back office assistants are supposed to be able to do it all from start to finish including collecting money. Honestly - it can’t work without someone answering phones and preparing the money part of it.. they are silly if they think that will work. Can you imagine not having knowledgeable people answering the phones - pts will go elsewhere if their ?s can’t be answered!!!

That is crazy…ridiculous!!! I have worked for so many Drs that just don’t get it. He needs someone to oversee the financial aspect of the practice. I don’t think assistants or RDHs should have to add that to their job description. I don’t think it is every a good idea to bring a front office discussion into an tx. room. It is confusing to the patient. Too many hands in the cookie jar. Hire someone up front with some business, and perhaps sales education/experience.
